No. 19 - Cycling Across the US for Women in Need: Fo(u)r Women for Women

Four women. One goal: to cycle across the US. A fundraising total that leaves us speechless. Carlotta Schumacher and the “Fo(u)r Women for Women” team successfully completed the Race Across America—not only mastering one of the world’s toughest cycling challenges, but also raising funds for Body Voices.

As a native of Tübingen, Carlotta feels a special connection to Body Voices, and that connection to this worthy cause gave her ride across America an extra boost. Our fundraising goal of 10,000 euros was exceeded, and we are overwhelmed.

This donation will support this year’s Body Voices Advanced Program, in which we provide intensive support to five participants over the course of a year as they journey toward healing.

Four women, thousands of kilometers of willpower, and a donation that enables us to continue supporting survivors of sexual violence using body-oriented methods.
