Body Voices is carried by many hands and many voices. Today we introduce one of them: Andrea Rosa Simma enriches our diverse program through the theme of belly work – at Body Voices Basic and in our follow-up sessions, she accompanies participants on their journey.

The Belly as a Source of Power

Andrea carries a conviction that lies at the heart of her work: almost everything we need for a fulfilled life can be found in the belly. This is where our life energy originates, where it's decided whether we radiate or drag ourselves through the day. Children already know this intuitively – when they're hurting, they want their belly stroked. Our language knows it too: a knot in your stomach, butterflies in your belly, something hits you in the gut. Emotions are registered in the belly first, processed and regulated there. Through her work, Andrea makes this bodily wisdom tangible in a gentle, direct and effective way.

Andrea is a cultural scientist and ethnologist, a systemic counselor, and a health coach with many years of experience in integrative belly treatment, belly self-massage, and mindfulness training. This breadth of knowledge and experience is an expression of her calling: to strengthen people, to mobilize their power, to make them brave for their own future. This is exactly the spirit she brings to our team of trainers.

At Body Voices

Within Body Voices Basic, Andrea leads the group workshop in which participants rediscover their own center – as a place of strength, not of tension. In the follow-up sessions, she stays by the participants' side, accompanying whatever continues to unfold, to change, to grow.

Her work reminds us: sometimes change doesn't begin in the head, but with a hand placed on your own belly.
